- Justin Herbert offers quarterback upside: Herbert finished with 498 rushing yards last season and enters 2026 with Mike McDaniel as his new offensive coordinator.
- Dalton Kincaid provides value at tight end: Kincaid has produced 2.12 yards per route run over the past two seasons and carries a ninth-round ADP.
It’s officially “my guy” season at PFF — time to plant our flags on the players we believe in more than consensus. For this list, I focused on the players I’ve been most excited to land in fantasy drafts this year.
Average draft position is based on a consensus from ESPN, Sleeper and Yahoo!, reflecting where each player is typically selected in a 12-team redraft league.
WR Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings (ADP: 1.11)
Jefferson was a top-five fantasy wide receiver in points per game each season from 2021 to 2024. That streak ended in 2025, when he finished 30th, largely due to his quarterback situation. He went from primarily having Kirk Cousins and Sam Darnold over those four seasons to Carson Wentz and J.J. McCarthy last year.
The percentage of passes thrown his way that were catchable dropped by nearly 10% compared to the previous two seasons, and his average depth of target declined to accommodate his quarterbacks, leading to fewer yards per reception. Jefferson’s catchable target rate for end zone passes also fell from 50% to 25%, resulting in a significant decrease in touchdowns.
The Vikings added Kyler Murray in free agency, which was the best available option for Minnesota. Murray has supported elite fantasy receivers before, including DeAndre Hopkins, who finished as a top-five receiver in 2020, the only season where Murray and Hopkins were both healthy together. Murray also bolstered Trey McBride's TE2 season in 2024.
While there is always some risk when a wide receiver gets a new quarterback, this change should result in Jefferson returning to the top-five fantasy wide receivers.
