- Sit Jordan Love: He has scored fewer than 16 points in 50% of games this season, and the Broncos will be a much tougher defense than the Detroit Lions or Chicago Bears defenses that he got to face over the last two weeks.

Are you struggling to set your Week 15 fantasy lineups? Maybe I can help… Below you can find my top fire (boom) and ice (bust) players at each position for Week 15. I also include my sleeper of the week at each position in case you are in a deeper league or in need of a replacement for an ice player.
Don’t miss my Fire and Ice chart at the bottom of this page. There, I have listed out all of my fire, good, sleeper and ice plays for Week 15 of the 2025 fantasy football season.
Quarterbacks
Fire QB Start of the Week: Jaxson Dart (vs. WAS)
Before the New York Giants‘ Week 14 bye, Dart had his worst fantasy output in his career in a tough matchup on the road in Foxborough. He scored just 13 points in Week 13 against the New England Patriots after averaging 22.9 points per game over his first seven career starts. This week will be much easier for Dart because he'll be at home against a weak secondary. The Washington Commanders have allowed the fourth-most points to opposing quarterbacks in 2025. Since Week 7, the Commanders have allowed 20-plus fantasy points to J.J. McCarthy, Jared Goff, Sam Darnold, Patrick Mahomes and Dak Prescott.
Sleeper QB of the Week: Brock Purdy (vs. TEN)
Brock Purdy has yet to hit 20 fantasy points in a game this season, but he should have a season-high day this Sunday. Since Week 7, no team has allowed more fantasy points per game to starting quarterbacks than the Tennessee Titans. In that span, Shedeur Sanders, Justin Herbert, Drake Maye and Trevor Lawrence all scored 22-plus points against them. Purdy is a top-10 play in Week 15.
Ice QB Start of the Week: Jordan Love (at DEN)
Jordan Love has put together back-to-back strong fantasy performances, but he should not be trusted in starting lineups this weekend. Love has scored fewer than 16 points in 50% of games this season, and the Broncos will be a much tougher defense than the Detroit Lions or Chicago Bears defenses that he got to face over the last two weeks. The Broncos' pass rush is one of the best in the league, and Love has statistically been one of the worst quarterbacks under pressure this season. Denver has allowed just one quarterback to score more than 13 fantasy points against them at home this season (Jaxson Dart in Week 7).
Running Backs
Fire RB Start of the Week: Saquon Barkley (vs. LV)
Coming off an elite 2024 season, Saquon Barkley has turned into one of the most disappointing fantasy players in 2025. However, he put together a strong game last week against the Los Angeles Chargers with 122 rushing yards and a touchdown. The Philadelphia Eagles need to lean on Barkley in Week 15 to snap their three-game losing streak. The Las Vegas Raiders defense has been very gracious to fantasy running backs as of late, allowing R.J. Harvey (22), Kimani Vidal (20.7) and Quinshon Judkins (16.7) to each score 16+ points against them over the last three weeks.
Sleeper RB of the Week: Kyle Monangai (vs. CLE)
Fantasy managers might be off Kyle Monangai after a down Week 14 performance with just 8.7 points, but he should remain in starting lineups heading into the first round of fantasy playoffs. He didn’t find the end zone last week as he did in four straight games entering Week 14, but he still saw 15 touches in a tough matchup on the road in Lambeau.
This week, the Chicago Bears will play at home against the Cleveland Browns, in what is expected to be a historically cold game with potential -20 degree windchill at kickoff. The Bears will need to lean on the run in these conditions, and both D’Andre Swift and Monangai should get a large workload. Over the last four weeks, the Browns have allowed five running backs to score 17-plus points against them, including Tony Pollard, who put up 28.1 points in Cleveland last Sunday.
Ice RB Start of the Week: Breece Hall (at JAX)
Despite being the clear-cut RB1 for the New York Jets with a massive 40% touch rate on the offense, it doesn’t make Breece Hall a lock for fantasy managers in the playoffs. He has been struggling with efficiency as of late, averaging just 3.2 yards per carry over his past three matchups. The schedule won’t get any easier in Week 15 up against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are the NFL’s No. 1 rushing defense this season. The Jets offense could also be in greater trouble than usual in Week 15, as both Justin Fields and Tyrod Taylor are in danger of missing with injury, which could put UDFA rookie Brady Cook in line for his first career start.
Wide Receivers
Fire WR Start of the Week: Terry McLaurin (at NYG)
There haven’t been many weeks this year that Terry McLaurin has made his fantasy managers excited, having battled a quad injury that has likely contributed to his career-low 56.7 receiving yards per game average. However, a matchup with the New York Giants is too intriguing to pass up – even in the fantasy playoffs. Only the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions and Las Vegas Raiders have allowed more fantasy points to the wide receiver position than the Giants in 2025. Three WRs have put up 20-plus points against the Giants in three of their last four games.
Sleeper WR Start of the Week: Wan’Dale Robinson (vs WAS)
Wan’Dale Robinson continues to earn a significant target share in the Giants' offense with a career-high 8.5 targets per game, and he’s been efficient with the opportunities, posting career-high marks in receptions (5.6) and receiving yards (63.7) per game, with a career-best 11.3 yards per reception. This week, the Giants face Washington at home, which should be favorable for Robinson. The Commanders lead the league in yards after the catch per reception allowed (6.4) since Week 8, giving up the sixth-most receiving yards (164.8) and seventh-most fantasy points per game (30.3) in that span.
Ice WR Starts of the Week: Los Angeles Chargers WRs (at KC)
Keenan Allen is the only Chargers wide receiver to have 40-plus yards in any of the team’s last three games (53 in Week 11). Even with a touchdown apiece in Week 13, Ladd McConkey and Quinton Johnston still scored just 13.9 and 11.3 fantasy points in that game. The Kansas City Chiefs have allowed the sixth-fewest yards per reception and receiving touchdowns to the wide receiver position this year. Justin Herbert has a broken left hand, the offensive line is in shambles, and the three main wide receivers are all limiting each other in terms of their fantasy potential. One of these guys could end up having an okay day, but it is a roll of the dice to guess which one.
Tight Ends
Fire TE Start of the Week: Isaiah Likely (at CIN)
It isn’t just that the Cincinnati Bengals are very bad at covering tight ends this season … they are historically terrible. The Bengals have allowed 24.1 fantasy points per game to tight ends, nearly eight more points on average than any other team in 2025. There has never been a team in NFL history that has allowed more than 20 points per game to the tight end position in any single season.
Isaiah Likely has been much more involved in the Baltimore Ravens offense over the last couple of weeks, as he has earned six targets in each of the last two games. Likely has scored exactly 12.5 fantasy points in each of the last two weeks, including Week 13 at the Ravens, when he caught five passes for 95 yards.
Sleeper TEs of the Week: Theo Johnson (vs WAS)
Theo Johnson has become a frequent target for Jaxson Dart, as he's earned the second-most targets (48) on the team from the rookie, only behind Wan’Dale Robinson, while catching five of his 11 total passing touchdowns. The Commanders have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to the tight end position in 2025. Only the Cincinnati Bengals have allowed more receiving touchdowns to the position than the Commanders.
Ice TE Start of the Week: Hunter Henry (vs BUF)
Hunter Henry has had a solid two-week stretch for fantasy managers with an 11-188-1 stat line, which may have fantasy managers intrigued to plug him in lineups to kick off the playoffs … but don’t get too excited. The Buffalo Bills have been dominant against opposing tight ends this season, allowing a league-low 7.3 fantasy points per game to opposing TEs, and the second-fewest receiving yards per game (33.9). To make matters worse for the passing game, snow is expected in Foxborough on Sunday, with a high of 31 degrees and wind gusts of 21 MPH.
Fire & Ice Fantasy Football Plays
Here, I categorize every relevant fantasy player into five different buckets: (1) fire starts (best starts of the week); (2) thumbs up (good starts); (3) Risky players with upside (sleepers); (4) Ice starts (predicting bad performance from good player); (5) Stop (must sits).
Note: If a player/defense is not listed, I am not considering starting them in Week 15. I have also not included Cowboys/Lions players as they have already played on Thursday Night Football by the time this article is published.
